  My husband and I own a 38 foot diesel pusher motorhome built on a bus chassis. We went to Freightliner at the suggestion of another RVer. What a mistake! Our RV is our only home, and we work out of it, so when it needs work, it needs it ASAP. We pulled into Warner Trucks Freightliner around lunchtime on Thursday, September 10th. We had just finished a job in Utah working at a Forest Service campground, and were trying to get our motorhome fixed in order to get to our next job in Texas. I will try to give a brief outline of what happened. 1. On the phone, we were told we could get in right away. In person, it was going to be 2 days. 2. Our job kept getting pushed behind others. Freightliner told us they do not take appointments, but do every job in order. Wrong. We stayed in our rig on the lot and watched jobs that came in after ours get done first. When we confronted staff, we were told the trucks had jobs to get to! We reiterated that we had a job to get to as well! 3. When we questioned people on Sunday, we were told by staff in multple departments that there was no reason that we should still be waiting for work to be done. We were still waiting on day five. Only when we kept confronting staff did we get someone to come look at the rig. 4. I overheard two mechanics arguing because neither one wanted to work on our rig. 5. Mechanics made a half-hearted attempt at getting a part number. Parts department couldn't find our part-- big surprise, since it was only a partial number. My husband and I crawled into the doghouse and got the part number ourselves. 6. We went to a hydraulics shop in town and got a diagnosis and a new part ordered in FIFTEEN MINUTES. Of course, Freightliner had no trouble issuing us a bill, even though they did not give us anything in return for our money. We finally left Freightliner a week after we had arrived. 95% of that time was spent waiting for customer service that never arrived. Were it not for the hydraulics shop in town, we would likely be waiting even now.
